I have a question.

When the soundtrack to Process was relased, there were references to other films that Cale and CS Leigh were working on together. One was American Widow, and it was mentioned that Cale would be "writing the score and producing several new tracks."

The other fim mentioned was "Everybody Had A Camera".

These were mentioned in the link below and in other articles:

Has anyone heard of possible soundtrack releases from these?

Thanks
Maurice

Cale and CS Leigh only worked on "Process" all future plans between two were put on hold indefinitely. Cale was also to score the CS Leigh film "See you at Regis Debray".

Cale played "Process" live at the Berlin film festival, that performance was filmed, it has not been shown, the tape is with CS Leigh, who has since made a film about Nico, which is in post-production.

Thanks for answering that. That's a shame. Sounds like they won't be sending each other Christmas cards.

I heard there were problems with the budget only being in the tens of millions....CS Leigh has the utmost respect for Cale...the Holy Grail for Cale collectors is the "Everybody had a camera" book they produced.

Hi! I adore Cale’s piano playing on the soundtrack album, Process. I’m all for that intense discordant melancholy that Cale the composer injects into these fourteen disturbing vignettes.
And I can say that even before watching the film. I hear it in his music. It’s obvious that he thrives on the despair and desperation offered here by CS Leigh. I would say that apart from
Radiology and Suicide Theme, the compositions are reminiscent of Palanquin and other earlier short pieces from Cale. Add to this the actions of Beatrice Dalle and Guillaume Depardieu,
then we surely have a film to die for. Thank you for all this information, fireball. And regarding American Widow and Everybody Had A Camera we can only wonder why it is that so
many artistic endeavours fail to materialize. Very sad. How I wish that I had ‘only’ tens of millions to make a film. Sigh.

I read Cale wanted Johnny Depp. I have a video screener of the unreleased "Process" film, but maybe i should keep that quiet in case it is believed its up for sale, which it is not. The film was thought to be lost when Tartan film went bust but its now back in the hands of the film's director.
