I'm just being nosey really, but I find this sort of thing interesting. How many times have you seen the man himself ?

I've been to four concerts and an hmv in-store thing

I have no idea... first concert was in Oslo, Norway in 1977, have seen all his concerts in Norway since then, but lost track of dates and years. Seen him in Scotland and Denmark, last concert was Paris 1919 in London in March.

Hi! That’s an interesting phrase to describe them. Only a bughead could come up with that one.

Oh Justine, I so much agree with you!!! And anyway, you really can't compare apples and pears. It's just silly... And yes, Lou Reed is a kind of rock star. So??? Does that automatically mean that his music is superior? He is definitely good in meeting his fans' expectations. "Play it again, Sam!" lol!

But let's not start a CaleReedFight. It's just a waste of energy, isn't it? I guess, Cale and Reed have already fought enough with each other. Enough for all of us! And they anyway don't share their royalties with us...everything else is religion Twisted Evil

I appreciate both, though my weakness is obvious...

By the way, so far I only visited two and half Cale concerts: Cardiff 2009, the Nico tribute in Wroclaw 2010 and Norwich 2010. Not many, but they already convinced me that Cale is an excellent musician...also live! But I guess, the next Cale event will be definitely different...hehehe... "Dark Days" in Essen.

Hey bughead, also a big sorry from my side! With your extended explanation it definitely sounds now different to me... Sorry for the misunderstanding!

Cheers, Nayika
